thatdifficultfirstnovel
Just wondering if anyone has read any of his stuff? A lot of his stuff ends up on the Kindle sales, and I'd heard good things about his Lost Fleet series. At the moment, the Autumn sale includes the whole of his Beyond The Fleet and some other series he wrote, so a lot of his stuff is going cheap. Karsa Orlong
Yeah, I mentioned this over in the Kindle deals thread - I had a couple of them already and today I've bought the rest of them - but not read any of them

thatdifficultfirstnovel
I'm at a weird quandry - I'm trying to complete my reading challenge, and they are just slightly too long for me to read. Probably won't be until 2016 I'm thinking.
Yorkshire Lad
I've read the three series he has done. Enjoyed the Stark's War trilogy. The Jag in Space series is good, but feels just a bit lighter. However, I really like the Lost Fleet series. Great exploration of what decades of war can do, and how a hero's legend can be corrupted so it becomes both a blessing and a curse, along with what the man behind the legend has to do to restore the dignity and integrity of a profession he loves. It makes it sound all very worthy! But there are some good battles and I like that he has spent time trying to figure out what battles fought in space would actually be like.
