Athena Posted September 29, 2014 Posted September 29, 2014 In Dutch there is something called 'minibieb' which I read is called internationally 'little free library'. This means that people, in front of their house (usually), place a shelf or shelves with books that you can borrow or take, and you can also bring books there for other people to read. I read this morning there is one now in the area nearby which I live, so thought I would take a look some time, maybe bring some books of my own there that I don't want to keep. I was wondering if anyone has ever been to one? They look pretty cute, from photos. Quote
Kell Posted September 29, 2014 Posted September 29, 2014 I think it's a lovely idea - it's a concept that's certainly growing in popularity. There are social places that have book swap shelves, where you can take a book for free and/or leave a book they've finished with. Quote
