Anna Begins
What book would you recommend for a non- reader and why? What's it about?
Athena
For me, I would ask them what kind of for example movies or TV shows they like to watch, to find out if they like stories with more action or more character based etc, or whether they like futuristic stuff, historical stuff, contemporary.. Then I'd recommend a book based on those tastes. I don't think there's a single book that is for everyone, though my recommendation would be a book that's not too long, not too slow paced and that reads easily. Sorry if this answer is too generic . dtrpath27
I would recommend a favorite of many from a few months back: The Rosie Project. It's relatable, accessible, doable (all the ables and ibles covered), and it's a great, well-written story. I would also recommend a short story...so many good ones to choose from. Signor Finzione
My husband doesn't read ANYTHING, but a couple of years ago he took it upon himself to read The Lovely Bones and really enjoyed it.
