p4poo Posted August 18, 2014 Posted August 18, 2014 Ok, it's a bit of a tricky one, I'm not sure if it's a pyscology or sociology type book I'm after.. I was browsing wikipedia yesterday and came accross 'bystander theory' which I found really interesting and wondered what books there are with a load of theories like the one I mentioned above? or for example, a book looking into why humans behave like they do... Why do we drink? How do we chose who our friends are? why do we conform? Type questions... a bit strange I know but I'm really interested in this kind of thing Quote
Athena Posted August 19, 2014 Posted August 19, 2014 Personally I quite liked Richard D. Gross - Psychology as an introduction. I think it's a study book but I quite enjoyed reading it. Another book that involves human behaviour is Richard Wiseman - Quirkology. I haven't really read many other books about the subject, that I remember at the moment. Quote
p4poo Posted August 19, 2014 Author Posted August 19, 2014 ordered them both, only cost a couple of quid each (bought an older edition from richard gross) many thanks Quote
