I think it's time to start a new thread for our beloved pets.

Feel free to post pics (even if you've done so before) and tell us stories about your companions.

My Jasper is going well. He is as adorable and mischievous as ever! I'll post some updated pics one of these days (goodness knows I take enough photos of him!)  :blush2:

Here is a recent pic of my two Cattle Dogs on their rock.. Sadly my old boy cannot make it up the hill to the rock any more, but I do have lots of older pics of him on there. I thought maybe a few of you might like to see how big Jojo is getting, she is now 7 months old and actually went to her first Agility training lesson today! :)

She did really well, we did a lot more than I expected, mini jumps, tunnel, weaves and the high dog walk already! All good fun though and the other handlers and dogs seem to be friendly. Only one dog looks a bit iffy but the owner seems to have her under control. :)

Wow! She did really well, you must be so proud and happy :smile2: Was she exhausted afterwards?

I love coming in the pet threads and seeing all your pictures.  I so wish we could have a dog.  Maybe one day.

My words exactly. I hope you are able to get a dog some day. I know how it feels to want a dog so bad :empathy:

She wasn't tired at all, but I was, she has far moe energy than me.. I expect she'll crash out this evening.

Before I could have my own dogs I used to borrow other peoples, for walks, training and sleepovers! I gained lots of experience which was invaluable for when we finally had the time, money and space to have one (or three!) of our own. :)

She's like a little Duracel bunny doggy :D

I should start doing that, really. I just don't have any friends/pals with dogs in this town... And I don't know if I dare ask my neighbors. I don't want to seem too friendly, in any way

We do look after my OH's brothers dog occasionally, and have a gorgeous photo of her in a beautiful frame up on the bookshelf, but it's not often enough!  It's time that's the problem, which is why it's a "one day" thing.

Lovely photos of Jojo and Obi! :boogie: The agility training sounds like fun, hopefully she will sleep a lot later.

Here's a pic of Reuben (already posted on Facebook)....can you believe he's two years old today?!

2 years?! Wow.. He seems to get more and more handsome though. My friend has a working Black Lab around the same age and they look very similar, is he still a good boy? All the male Labs I've known normally try and test the boundaries around 2/3 years old, even my Dylan who is half Lab and very laid back had his moments! :)

He's still a very good boy....very obedient and well-behaved. He has calmed down a lot, and spends a lot of the day sleeping (which is actually a blessing). He's dreadful for begging for food, though, but that's typical of a lab.  :D  He likes to wrestle a bit, and can sometimes be a bit cheeky, but really he's the sweetest pup. Honestly, we couldn't have asked for a better dog......we both feel so lucky! :D

Bless, sometimes you do get lucky, but I'm sure you can attribute much of his obedience and good

nature to your training and socialisation. :)

Dylan has always had the role of elder statesman and will put up with an awful lot from my pups but even now, aged nearly 15.5 years, when he puts his paw down they know he's not messing about. :D

In typical cat pose positions! Very cute, and great names too. I should try and get an up to date pic of Candy.. I'm sure Jojo will get her into position for me! :D

Ok, I'm lame with no pics but I got 2 Guinea pigs today and they are adorable.  We named them Sheldon and Leonard, as we are HUGE Big Bang Theory fans around here (I think Finnick and Gale would be great though lol)

Some lovely photos in here of all your pets :)!

Here's a recent photo of Pamuk:

And here's a recent photo of Boris:

They are doing well. Boris's toe doesn't seem to bother him as much anymore. He likes to chew up the old paper and often manages to find just that bit that's been recently added to the pile. Pamuk is such a sweetie and often sits next to me when I sit on the sofa. Boris and Pamuk such nice dogs :).

@ Anna Begins

Are they two males? Two males together doesn't always go well, though sometimes it can. We used to have 15+ guinea pigs at one point (in different areas), they're nice animals imo. I hope you enjoy yours :).

Our two cats (Poppy & Percy) are in the dog-house at the moment (if such a thing isn't a contradiction!) as they have both taken to scratching every bit of wallpaper in the house they can get at. I went upstair to find one of them sat in front a huge strip of paper on the stairs. I had a shout at him, but my wife took the cat's side and they both stared at me from the sofa for the rest of the evening! Why didn't we stick with Goldfish?!

Yes, two boys- at lest we were told so, they are 8 weeks.  They are brothers so have been kept together their whole little lives :P

And finally, we are sticking with Leonard and Sheldon, as my mom says she can't even pronounce Finnick and Gale "is a girls name"
