Has anybody seen this trilogy? What do you think?

These movies are some of my absolute favorites and I'd love to discuss them with other fans.

My husband and I have seen all three and loved the first two, but the third was a bit of a disappointment. 

We have the first two on DVD, but I'm not sure we'll bother purchasing the last one.  Maybe for completeness's sake.   :)

 

I'm afraid I don't remember lots of details though. Just in general.
