thelilradish Posted October 19, 2013 Posted October 19, 2013 Hi everyone I was wondering if anyone could help me please. I was in Tesco the other day and was browsing the books, when I saw a book that interested me. I'm trying to find it again to add to my Goodreads, but I can't, for the life of me, remember what it was called. The only thing I can remember is that it said on the front "inspired by Call the Midwife" and I think mentioned something about being about the real nurses or nuns of Nonnatus House. Does anyone know the book I am describing? I've tried searching the Tesco site but can't find it! Thanks in advance, Selina Quote
frankie Posted October 19, 2013 Posted October 19, 2013 Could it be Call the Midwife by Jennifer Worth? Quote
thelilradish Posted October 19, 2013 Author Posted October 19, 2013 Hahaha! If only it were that simple! Quote
frankie Posted October 19, 2013 Posted October 19, 2013 Oh crap, I just realised that was the book it was inspired by! I have a feeling some people on here have read the book you are thinking about, hopefully they will notice this and give you the title Quote
frankie Posted October 19, 2013 Posted October 19, 2013 The Midwife's Confession by Diane Chamberlain? Quote
frankie Posted October 19, 2013 Posted October 19, 2013 Or maybe Nurse on Call? If you check the link, you can scroll down to see covers of book that are similar to that one, and maybe you could find it there? Quote
