The Little Stranger

I wonder what others thought of the book The Little Stranger? I think it was written by Sarah Waters [my memory isn't great  so hope she did write it] I read it about 6 months ago, and thought it was such a good book. The real star of the story was the house [mansion] and all the characters revolved around it.The supernatural element was done subtly and I never guessed the ending at all!The characters in this book are all  believable, and the dialogue is too, nobody ever says something out of place, it's all done so well. I can see it would make a terrific film, or for tv.
