I haven't read Speaker for the Dead but I've read The Book Thief a couple of times and loved it. I have a pretty wide range of genres I read, but I generally tend to avoid chick-lit and fantasy, though I have read and enjoyed some of those as well. I'll basically try anything with a decent storyline. Quote
