I sometimes skim, if it's horrendously boring. Or, if I know I'm going to give up on a book, then I just flip straight to the finish to see how it ends. :readingtwo:

No, I never skip or skim-read.  I have a thing about finishing books once I've started them - for some reason I cannot abandon a book, even if I'm not enjoying it.  Even when I am enjoying a book, if there's a bit I'm finding tedious, I always struggle through it.  I'm always wary of missing something important.
