Janet
Tom Sharpe, author of many books including Blott on the Landscape (made into a TV series with David Suchet), Porterhouse Blue and the Wilt series has died. I've never read any of his works, although he's been on my 'to try' list for some time. RIP.
SueK
I was sorry to hear this today. I've read a lot of the Wilt books and they are the only books having me laughing out loud. I remember reading one on a train and getting funny looks from fellow passenger Well worth a try Janet. Edited June 6, 2013 by SueK
emelee
Rest in peace! He wrote one of my all-time favorite books, Riotous Assembly. Read it when I was tired of reading, and it got me into reading again. I will forever be glad that I discovered him.
