That's quite interesting! They're quite beautiful, even though I don't like the thought of book destroying/mutilating at all.

If only old books are used i could be ok with that. They are wonderfully beautiful!!

I love them and would love to own a piece, Su Blackwell does similar things. I've been known to mutilate a few books by cutting hearts out etc* :blush2: Nothing in that league though .. that's awesome!

 

* In my defence they have all been rather bashed and bruised copies of Jane Austen and I have read them all. I feel as if the world has lots of Jane Austen copies in it and it won't miss mine which looked unloved anyway (though they weren't :D) I have very respectable little red leather editions on my shelf anyway.
