Hello everyone!

This is my first post on The Book Club Forum. Have you ever read any books by Polish authors? For example Witold Gombrowicz, Sławomir Mrożek or Stanisław Lem?

The first one is my favourite writer. His books are translated into about fourty languages, but he is strongly connected with Poland. He wrote for example "Trans-Atlantyk". In my view it is book about what is more important, what takes precedence. Individual or nation.

Sławomir Mrożek is known in literary world because of his dramas, for instance "Tango".

In turn Stanisław Lem is science fiction writer. His book are immersed in philosophy. You have to be proficient in philosophy and  also technology to understand his book well. Although you don't have to be worry of that, because his sense of humour is great.

Regards,

Pole
