risingdawn Posted January 25, 2013 Posted January 25, 2013 Starting a new unit in English Lit and we're now doing an essay on feminism, marxism or metaphor within a poem. One of my teachers has recommended and gone through Daddy by Sylvia Plath which I'm seriously considering writing about on feminism in terms of the Electra complex. I was just wondering what everyone else thought of the poem and if they have any suggestions on feminism within the poem. I have a few from my lesson and will gain some more but it would be nice to have some other ideas should I find myself lacking. Quote
