emelee Posted October 4, 2012 Posted October 4, 2012 I found a good recipe for bread that I altered a bit. Super easy. Done in approximately 75 minutes, including oven time. Put oven on 200 degrees celcius. Take out a bowl and add all these ingredients: 1 decilitre whole grain flour of some sort 1 decilitre dinkel wheat flour 3 decilitre graham flour 4,5 decilitre wheat flour 4 decilitre sour milk or natural yoghurt of some sort (filmjölk in Swedish) 0,5 decilitre bread treacle or syrup 2 teaspoons bicarbonate 1 teaspoon salt 1 decilitre raisins Blend together with mixer a couple of minutes. Butter up an ovensafe form, about 1,5 litre big is enough. The bread is done after 60 minutes in the oven - lowest down in the oven. It's done. Quote
Kidsmum Posted October 6, 2012 Posted October 6, 2012 Hi Emelee, i love home made bread especially with soup. What is dinkel wheat & graham flour though Quote
emelee Posted October 8, 2012 Author Posted October 8, 2012 You don't have those where you live?? Looked them up on Wikipedia: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spelt http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Graham_flour But you can pretty much use ANY kind of flour. I have just chosen these kinds because wheat flour isn't all that healthy. Quote
