Bmike80 Posted August 29, 2012 Posted August 29, 2012 The Faithful Spy by Alex Berenson is a best seller novel, based on spy from CIA deployed in Afghanistan for the purpose of intelligence and I have read the novel’s first half and I really enjoyed it but unfortunately in house renovation I lost the hard copy so I am wondering if someone could give me advice on where to find its e-book (for free) and easily downloadable. Thank you in advance for cooperation. Quote
chesilbeach Posted August 29, 2012 Posted August 29, 2012 (edited) As it's still in print, and not that old, I doubt you'll be able to find a free legal copy of the ebook. It is, however, widely available in ebook format from all the usual booksellers. If you don't want to pay for a new copy, how about borrowing it from a library? Bmike80 Posted August 30, 2012 Author Posted August 30, 2012 I know that's why even torrents are of no help but BookHound you have given me a brilliant idea, I am wandering why it didn't come in my mind. Thanks alot mate. Quote
SueK Posted August 30, 2012 Posted August 30, 2012 (edited) Claire, I notice you are reading A Carpet Ride to Khiva which is on the Kindle Daily deal today. It looks enticing. I wondered what you thought of it and if good, I might download before the deal runs out tonight. Edited August 30, 2012 by SueK Quote
chesilbeach Posted August 30, 2012 Posted August 30, 2012 Sue, I'm really enjoying it. It's always interesting to find out about the different culture in a country I know so little about, and Uzbekistan certainly fits that bill! I'm going to recommend it to my OH as well, as he likes that sort of book, and it's a bargain today at only 99p Quote
