bookmonkey Posted August 13, 2012 Posted August 13, 2012 Does anyone know of any good books set in Germany after World War II. I know I have read one but can't remember the title, and I'd like to read others. I have a book set in Japan during and after the war which I'm looking forward to, and this reminded me of the German one I read. TIA Quote
Brian. Posted August 13, 2012 Posted August 13, 2012 Fiction or non-fiction? Fiction, I would recommend 'Fatherland' by Robert Harris. Non-fiction, I would recommend 'Stasiland' by Anna Funder Quote
bookmonkey Posted August 14, 2012 Author Posted August 14, 2012 Fatherland sounds familiar. I'll have to check that out, it may be the one I've read. Hope it's not though. Quote
