Hi for a good crime read coming from Scotland i would normally read Ian Rankine.

 

However i recently read an eKindle novel recommended to me by a friend, named Scheme of Angels by an unknown author John R Burns. Its highly ranked in the top few thousand downloads....its a cracking read.
