Emeryj23 Posted August 1, 2012 Posted August 1, 2012 I am looking for an entertaining non fiction book that you can't put down. Something that is fun but also really gets you to think. Similar books to these that I Really love would be Fast food nation, freakonomics, understanding comics: the invisible art, and the game: penetrating the secret society of pickup artists. Other books I love are one flew over a cuckoos nest, animal farm, and Maus. thank you for your help. Quote
vodkafan Posted August 2, 2012 Posted August 2, 2012 (edited) At the moment I am reading A Short History Of Nearly Everything by Bill Bryson. I would put that in the category you asked for above. Edited August 2, 2012 by vodkafan Quote
chesilbeach Posted August 2, 2012 Posted August 2, 2012 I'd recommend Moonwalking With Einstein by Joshua Foer and Blink by Malcolm Gladwell. Neither are really exciting, but they are good fun and I found them both entertaining and informative. Quote
Kylie Posted August 2, 2012 Posted August 2, 2012 You could try any books by Mary Roach: Stiff: The Curious Lives of Human Cadavers is supposed to be quite funny and informative. I also second Bryson's A Short History of Nearly Everything. Quote
