Mad Scientist Posted June 5, 2012 Posted June 5, 2012 Hello everyone, I am Mad Scientist, I am a 15 years old boy that has been getting into reading lately. I mainly like horror book with drama and regular life mixed in, but I don't mind reading something from a different genre if the story is really good. I like talking about computers and physics. I watch anime, read manga and play visual novels a lot as well. English is not my first language (I live in the Netherlands), so I'll might make a few mistakes. This is basically me in a nutshell, feel free to ask me things if you want to know something about me. I'm hoping to enjoy my time on this forum. Sirencely, Mad Scientist. Quote

Mad Scientist Posted June 8, 2012 Author Posted June 8, 2012 So what good horror books have you read? Andie P x I used to read a lot books from the Goosebumps series, but then I got into computers and stopped reading for quite a while, a few years later I started watching anime and reading manga (around the end of 2008) and I really liked the Higurashi manga series. After watching a lot anime, getting more knowledge about computers and building my own PC, I started to read again (exactly a year ago in 17 days), the first book I ordered at that time was Structure and Interpretation of Computer Programs, which isn't exactly horror and a few months later, I ordered Metro 2033. I kind of forgot about Metro 2033 because of school and I started reading it a few weeks ago. Metro 2033 isn't exactly horror, it's more science fiction, though. This is basically the entire story in a nutshell, here's a sum up: -A few books from the Goosebumps series (about 8 to 10, I sold them) -Biomega (manga) -A few mangas from the higurashi series -Metro 2033 if you consider it horror -Can I add my math book from school to this list? Once again, thanks for the welcome everyone! Quote
