What are some good survival books?

I want a book that has quality information on how to survive in the wild. What book do you recommend?

For pure survival textbooks you won't go far wrong with anything written by John 'Lofty' Wiseman.

 

He is an ex-SAS trooper who went on to teach survival to people both military and civilian all over the world. Ray Mears has also written a few pretty good books on bushcraft.
