I love all these kind of books, I have a few books that just give you snippets of info on various cases...
I've read Helter Skelter and enjoyed that!
I'm copying and paste-ing to my google docs, so I can search for more books...hope you all don't mind x
Anyone know any books on Albert Fish???

I haven't read one although I would love to.
It intrigues me how people can think like that and what's going through their mind etc.
I've been recommended Fred and Rose by Howard Sounes.
It's about Fred and Rose West and is written by the journalist who followed the story when it first broke. It is the most popular book regarding the pair and what they did. I think it's quite graphic though.
I haven't read it yet but I intend to. It's got some great reviews.
Hope this helps.
Thanks x
Yes that prob would be a good one for me!!
We already have a thread on true crime, you can find it in here, there are quite a few recommendations there
Sorry x must of missed it!

I've read a few of his: Fear Nothing, The Taking and The Face, all of which I enjoyed immensely. I maybe enjoyed The Taking the most, simply because of its spooky and mesmerising atmosphere. I would like to read more and would probably go for Odd Thomas next.
You will love Odd Thomas..... One of my fav has to be Dark Rivers of the Heart tho x
Dark Rivers of the Heart is one of my favouite books. I have read several of DKs and like someone mentioned they are hit and miss. SKs Misery is also a good one of his.
I love DK's style of writing it just seems to flow for me, where as I find SK a bit harder to get into. I have lots of DK's books in my shelves, love them x

Are there any fellow Dean Koontz fans out there?
What is your favorite novel of his and why?
-
I love Black House by Stephen King and Peter Straub (I think?)
I do sometimes feel his books are hard to get into the don't seem to flow as easily as some authors x

We all have our preferences..,. I love the odd thomas books tho!!
Steven King is probably the better writer, but for ease of reading it has to be Koontz!
