Just wondering what people thought of this. It received really good reviews but I wasn't as keen and it did make me wonder what the booker prize reviewers think makes a good book. I only chose it because it was the book for January of my bookclub 'The Oxford Book Club' on google+
Was there a clever subtext in the story that I totally missed or was it just about a whiney man who didn't do much with his life and took some pleasure in looking at someone else's drama briefly?
What did people think of last years booker prize winner 'The Sense of an Ending'
