Mmm yeah golden crunch are a nightmare. Have you tried Biting both ends off of a twix then using it as a straw to suck the tea? It turns to mush and makes loads of mess but taste bloody great :)
I'm nearing the end of 'Game of thrones' and hope to finish it tonight or tomorrow. Have just ordered 'A clash of kings' and am waiting for amazon to find out when the series is out on DVD.
Not had chance to read at all this weekend...yet. Hope to read a bit later though. Did pick up a copy of 'The narrows' Michael Connelly at a car boot yesterday for 50p though
Michael Connelly (Harry Bosch series), Jonathan Kellerman (Alex Delaware series) & Michael Dibdin (Zen Series) are all also brilliant and I'm currently working my way through these among other books and they're great.
Not read the last couple days as been busy. Started 'Game of Thrones' on my lunch break today though but only managed 2 chapters so hope to crackon with it later.
I've just finished 'lost light' by Michael Connelly and loved the surprise at the end. Was not expected.
Next I'm going to read 'Game of Thrones' which will be the first book I'll be reading that isn't Crime/Thriller. Felt like a change and this looks good.
I managed to get a good hrs read in on my lunch break today and am now half way through 'lost light' and so far have to say this is another great Bosch story.
Just finished 'city of bones' by Michael Connelly and really enjoyed it. Not the best Bosch book but still good.
Now going to start the next in series 'lost light' also Michael Connelly
I've not read much the last couple days. Have read a few chapters of 'city of bones' this morn and have now hit the 100 page mark.
I ordered 2 books this morn 'The monkeys raincoat' by Robert Crais & 'B is for Burglar' Sue grafton
I've just finished reading 'Immortal in death' JD Robb. Found the book predictable and a bit boring but stuck with it. Not sure if I'll bother to continue reading the series.
Now I'm gonna start on 'City of bones' Michael Connelly.
This happened to me but stick with it as it does get better For me though the first section set in present time was fantastic.
I'm still reading 'Immortal In Death' JD Robb. Am about 1/4 way through but havent had much time to read the last couple days.
Not read any of his books but from the rave reviews you guys are giving him I think I'll have to read one. Any ideas where to start? are his books a series?
Glad your enjoying it It really does grab you from the get go eh? I read on wikipedia they're making a movie now
I'm about half way through 'step on a crack' and am really enjoying it. It's gripped me from the start.
I read 'The Passage' at the beginning of the year and thought it was a brilliant book. Beware though some parts of the book drag a little but then the pace picks up and bang something else hits you. The downside is waiting around for part 2 now which isn't out til 2012 Let me know what you think of the book when you get started.
I've just finished reading 'A is for Alibi' by Sue Grafton. For me it was a good start to the series and I've just ordered 'B is for Burglar'. I'm no going to start reading 'Step on a Crack' by James Patterson & Michael Ledwidge.
