  1. I am sorry, LSU is Louisiana State University here in Baton Rouge. It is rich in history considering it is only 150 years old. One of my favorite pieces in my collection is this 1902 pictorial book on the old campus. This maybe one of only three known to exist. LSU has two,but both of their's are in tattered condition BTW, I cannot figure out how edit my 1st post, and I figured how to post pictures, so here are some pictures of the manuscript
  2. Let me tell you about myself since I just joined. I am a collector of LSU items, not just sports, but any item on LSU. I love books on LSU. I hit garage sales looking for LSU items and anything I can flip to sell to help pay for my collection. Yesterday, I found this homemade book of poems by a Helen Bullock, dated 1933. It contains 50 poems and drawings, one per page. It looks like a manuscript she made to try and get published. There was an author/historian/archivist at that time named Helen Duprey Bullock. Each page contains one poem and drawing, 50 pages in all. The only thing not adding up, the first page says she was 18, but Helen Duprey Bullock was 28 in 1933, not 18. The only thing I can think is that she wrote them in 1923 and finally put them to paper in 1933 to get them published. Does anyone know who I can contact about this book? http://i144.photobucket.com/albums/r198/theantiquetiger/ad1f170f.jpg http://i144.photobucket.com/albums/r198/theantiquetiger/eef34b51.jpg
