I'm trying to remember the title of a book I read a few years ago, does anyone have any ideas?
It's about a lady called Gabrielle/Gabriella who lives with her husband on a farm. They met whilst she was backpacking and ended up working on his families farm. Years later she starts restoring paintings. Somehow she ends up restoring a masthead and falls in love with a man who is connected with the masthead (he's researching the history of the ship or something). She manages to live a double life for quite a long time before she gets found out. The book flicks between this story and that of lovers on the ship before it went down. I think Gabriella owns a chest of drawers once owned by a the lady that was on the ship.
