    4. How often do you read for fun in the week? About 6 days out of 7. For anything from 1 hour to 5 hours +

     

    5. What time of day do you like to read? Mostly at night time.

     

    6. Where do you read? In my bedroom.

     

    7. How many books have you read in the last 6 months? 29 :)

     

    8. What type/genre do you enjoy reading most? YA, and well as mystery/crime books.

     

    9. Why do you read? For entertainment purposes, and also for relaxation purposes.

     

    10. What barriers prevent you from reading more? Having so much to do! Such as school work; babysitting; general family things that can't be avoided.

     

    11. Do you think reading for fun is important? Of course!

     

    12. Do you fold page corners or use a bookmark? I use a bookmark (which can be anything from a real bookmark to a scrap of paper_

     

    13. Do you prefer to read to music or in silence? In silence, otherwise I find myself singing along to the song.

     

    14. Do you discuss books with your friends? Yes, although not as much as I would like to.

     

    15. Do you borrow books from the library? I prefer to buy my books, so no.

     

    16. Do you borrow/loan books from/to friends? I loan them to friends, but none of them really read that much so I don't borrow books from them!

  2. I just finished 'The Scorch Trials' by James Dashner and about to start 'Unwind' by Neal Shusterman :)

     

    Is The Scorch Trials as good as The Maze Runner? :) I'm waiting for TSC to be released in paperback so it matches TMR.. but I'm dying to read it!

     

    Unwind is in my TBR.. I'm reading it as part of the Dystopia challenge for 2011 so I can't start it yet! :doh:

  3. Love Lessons was one of my favourite JW books :) I think I stopped reading her books around the time Kiss was released. I tried reading one of them again quite recently, but I unfortunately couldn't read it because I felt the writing was too simple. I hate growing older. :wacko:

    Either Rachel Vincent, Lynsay Sands or Becca Fitzpatrick.

    Charlaine Harris. I found myself reading her Sookie Stackhouse books, as well as her Harper Connelly books.

     

    Your favourite book cover of the year?

     

    Nightshade by Andrea Cremer. The cover for this book is stunning!

     

    The book that most disappointed you?

     

    Tyger Tyger by Kersten Hamilton - it was a struggle to finish.

     

    The funniest book you read this year?

     

    City of Bones by Cassandra Clare

    Jace Wayland from Cassandra Clare's The Mortal Instruments series

  5. Hi everyone! I just wanted to introduce myself before I started posting wildly. I've been lurking on this forum for a while - I was introduced to it by a friend - but I've finally plucked up the courage to post. And as you all seem like a friendly bunch, I'm not nearly as nervous as I thought I would be :giggle2:

     

    I'm Amber, I'm 18 years old and I live in Buckinghamshire. I love reading, and I mostly enjoy reading YA books. I'm also a book blogger ^_^

     

    I hope to meet some wonderful people, and to join in with some great book conversations!
