Doesn't Mean Anything- Alicia Keyes
I do like her new album!
Today's album has been Miike Snow's self-titled album. It's just plain awesome!

A final set of 6-0 to Federer made sure the comeback was complete, this afternoon on centre court. 2-0 down and fighting to stay in the tournament, I was astounded to see him fight his way back and claw out a 3 set to 2 victory in a sensational five set match. He played amazingly to bring the game back, a key break of serve against Falla in the fourth when he was serving for the match. Well played Rodger.
Agreed! If I'm honest I didn't want to see him go, especially so early on! I love watching him play! He is without a doubt the best player in the world, and I think the best to watch too!!

I finished a 700 page book I started before breakfast this morning just after lunch time. I did spend most of that time reading, however, I spent some time doing other things (walking around my local town, mainly). I'm a very quick reader, and have to admit sometimes I miss out small details the first time round that is why 9 times out of 10 I will re-read the book.

She's fantastic, and I love the album you mentioned, it's great.
I just cannot get enough of her voice! Songs like The Writer and Your Biggest Mistake just play on my mind all day. I find it's a great album to listen to when I read, not that I can hear it much (if that makes any sense )

That all depends on your definition of scary are you looking for psychological horror, a nice gorefest or something in between?
Something that will keep me up at night, something quite gory though! I guess in between

Title: The Short Second Life of Bree Tanner
Author: Stephenie Meyer
Publisher: Atom
Rating: 3/5
Synopsis (from book cover):
I watched his body change. He crouched on the roof, one had gripping the edge. All that strange friendliness disappeared, and he was a hunter. That was something I recognized, something I was comfortable with because I understood it.
I turned off my brain. It was time to hunt. I took a deep breath, drawing in the scent of the blood inside the humans below. They weren't the only humans around, but they were the closest. Who you were going to hunt was the kind of decision you had to make before you scented your prey.
It was too late to choose anything.
Review:
We first met Bree Tanner for a brief moment at the end of the Stephenie Meyer's Eclipse[/i] but she was obviously an important character to the author, as she had a whole back story worked out for her, which she has now written up in this novella.
I thought it might be a while before I got to read another installment in the Twilight saga (I'm still holding out for the completion of Midnight Sun), and to be honest, I'd convinced myself I wasn't that bothered by this new story as it wasn't about our beloved Bella, Edward and Jacob, but couldn't resist the lure of an especially early opening of Waterstone's on publication date.
At 178 pages, it's a quick, easy read, and it does feel like returning home after holiday - you've had a great time away reading other things, but it's lovely to be back with the your own creature comforts. From what I've seen of what's coming in the Eclipse film, I'm guessing Meyer gave this material to the filmmakers, and it rounds out the story nicely.
The story concentrates more on Bree discovering the secrets Riley is keeping from his group of newborns. I enjoyed it, and I loved the characters of Diego and Fred. When the story starts, Bree has already been a vampire for a few months, but personally, I would have liked to see Meyer start the story in Bree's last day as a human, or in the first few days as a vampire.
Interestingly, Waterstone's had opened an hour early for the book release and I was expecting to find crowds of teenagers at the bookshop, but it was a very quiet store that I walked into. In fact, the display of books was still pretty full, and I had the whole shop to myself. I didn't actually arrive until about 8:45am, so perhaps i'd missed them!
Have to agree with you there thoroughly, it wasn't anywhere near as compelling as the Saga itself, in fact I was quite let down! I enjoyed it (how could I not with Meyer's fantastic writing style) however, I was expecting too much, I guess.
(Pre-ordered paper-back Breaking Dawn today though, that'll be good, I hate hardbacks!)

I have to make a confession. I'm a 16 year old boy and love the Twilight books (read them all coming up to 4 times now) I have to say I'm excited for the release of Eclipse!! I hope it's better than the film portrayal of New Moon though, which I wasn't that impressed by!

I have Die For Me, on my TBR pile, and I'm looking forward to it I must say, it's a massive book though!
I finished this book just after lunch time, I started reading it just before breakfast... Just to give you an idea of just how addictive it was!

Hello everyone this is my first post!
Just wondered if anyone knew of any writer similar to Karen Rose? Have read a couple of hers now in as many days, can't get enough of her but I feel that every book follows the same style/skeleton and it's a tad annoying! Just wondered if anyone knew something similar, or any good thrillar/suspense recommendations? Something that is going to make me not want to sleep that night
Thanks,
Mitch.

Hi all!
I'm just looking for a book (preferably non-fiction for the reality factor) that is written about, by, or anything to do with mental illnesses/asylums that will give me chills! I know I have a weird request, I'm just fascinated and fancy a change in reading (from Karen Rose!) to something a little more chilling, something that's going to keep me up an night really haha!!
Thanks for reading,
Mitch.
