When I came across this thread the other day it inspired me to have a look through the gorgeous book journals available on Amazon. Although I love the idea of them it seems like the majority of the specialist book journals only have room for about 60-80 books which isn't all that many considering how many I can get through in a year. I think I might just use one of the many gorgeous hardback notebooks I already own instead.

How many seasons are there in total?

I've just recently bought the first 5 seasons off of Amazon as they were such great prices - I'd heard such good things about the show I thought I'd snap them up. I haven't actually started watching them yet though, but after reading a few of the posts in this thread I'll think I'll make a start on Season 1 at the weekend.

I didn't know he'd even released a single, let alone a charity one.

I can understand people reading say a fiction book alongside a reference book, but for me personally I don't think I'd want to read two fiction books at the same time, regardless of their genre.

I would love to read some of the classics, but whenever I've tried in the past I've only lasted a couple of pages before giving up on them. I did notice that there is a Reading Circle and a Classics Club on here so I might explore those sections a bit and see if I can psyche myself up to try again.

I was up early this morning, so I've already done my chores for the day. I'm going to be pottering around online for about an hour - catching up on emails, Google Reader and of course having a browse on here - and then I'm going to snuggle up on the couch with a new book. Not sure which one yet, though. I'll need to have a look through them all and see which one takes my fancy.

The Mentalist (Season 1) - I only started watching it on television towards the end of its run on Five, so a lot of the episodes (with the exception of the last 5 or 6) I didn't see first time around. I pre-ordered it as soon as I got hooked though and I've gone through the entire season since it arrived on Monday. Fantastic show and I love Simon Baker!

I'm 28, so I'm an adult but not quite a proper grown up (in my eyes you have to be 30 for that). I will, however, be turning 29 in July though so I'm getting closer! Eeek!

I'm just over half way through reading Before I Fall by Lauren Oliver. I picked this book on my most recent visit to Amazon because of all the fabulous things I read about it on the internet. It's really rather good and I highly recommend it. I'm planning on finishing it this afternoon.

I tend to keep the vast majority of the books I own. I do occasionally hand in a bag of books to my local charity shop but I only give away those books I know I will never read again. I also have no qualms about giving back the books I bought in the charity shop in the first place!

A lot of my books used to be stored in big plastic storage containers which were then stacked up in the bottom of the wardrobe in the spare room mainly because I never had any proper bookshelves. Some - those that were being lined up to read or new additions - were stacked in piles in the corner of the bedroom or stacked in smaller piles on the desk or bedside table. My boyfriend, however, got a little tired of either knocking them over or tripping over them, so caved in and bought me a set of matching bookshelves for Christmas one year so most of them are now taking pride of place on them in the spare room which I now like to call 'The Library'. My next three or four reads though, along with my current read, are still sitting on my bedside table and those that have recently been bought are stacked on the desk waiting for me to catalogue them. I log each book I buy in a spreadsheet, but I'm sure I'm not the only one who does that, right?!

I can spend hours browsing online - Amazon, Book Depository etc - but as I work near my local shopping mall and tend to pop across to the shops in my lunch hour my browsing time is really rather limited. On average I probably don't spend any more than about 20 or 30 minutes in a bookstore due to time constraints. Like I said though browsing online is a whole other matter!
