@green: I know what you mean! Amazon is great, because they have nearly every book you want to buy, but to be in a book store, hold the books in your hand, maybe read a few pages..... this is something special!

A friend of mine had some really bad experiences with his Visa card! It was duplicated and someone spent a lot of money! Luckily he did not have to pay this, but he could not use his card for more than a month. So I think buying a card and use this like cash is a safe and easy way to pay online! But I don

Yes, he has definitely used his own experiences in his books! He did a lot of casual work and he also was a war correspondent. I think this personal experiences made his books so authentic! Once there was a war is based on his diary during his time as a war correspondent!

I like East of Eden, because I think that the story is timeless and could happen these days as well! The second steinbeck book I read ist Once there was a war, but I found this one rather depressing!

I liked the movie and so I bought the books! They were even better, I could not stop reading! My favorite charcter ist dustfinger, and I was really sad, when I finnished the last page of Inkdeath, because I knew, this was the end of the story! I would love to read more about Inkworld!
