Honestly, I was really distraught yesterday, but am coming into more of an acceptancce about the situation today. I won't find out for 100% sure until this next set of blood tests comes back, but my doctor says he is certian and these are just for my records.

Yes, we've been pretty lucky here so far this year. I've always wanted to see the Pacific Northwest with the mountains and endless trees. It must be so beautiful out there. My dad lived in Portland for a while and is very familliar with Oregon and Washington. He talks about his time there so often it feels almost like I've visited!

I tried moving to Texas and was even offered a job! Maybe if this whole UK thing doesn't work out in the fall I'll try for Austin again. I really love that city and can see myself living there easily. Then we can put magnetic bumper stickers on cop cars and fork people's yards.

It hasn't been great. I've written my resignation to my boss, trying to decide if I'm going to hand it in or shread it. I'm not too upset, just trying hard right now to figure out what the right path is.
