I re read this post and realized everything is rambling, does not make sense, or is kinda off topic so only read the bold if you want an understandable answer.
People say you can't judge a book by its cover, but too bad I do. If the cover looks good I read the blurb and if the blurb is not interesting I don't read the book, but if the cover looks bad I don't read the blurb. It is kinda a bad habit but...
Oops I went off topic. Let me answer your question now.
Say I do start a non-interesting book. Would I put it down? Good question. I always don't buy my books [because 1) I am 14 and spend money on other things that I want 2) I own a library card and when am I going to use it if not know.] so I go to the library and since I cant drive yet I cannot keep asking my parents to take me. So if I have a bad book from the library I would continue reading it unless I had a better book to read. If it was not from the library then I would not have bought it because I only buy books if it they are good. Well I hope that answered your question.

It is a bad habit but I fold my pages. If i get hold of a scrap piece of paper i put a arrow on it to point to which page.

Is twilight a girl or guy book?
Please use spoiler tag! I have not read the book yet. But it might be my TBR.

I organize my shelf every time I clean my room. I put them my most favorite first and my least favorite last and if some are tied i just stick them in the place in any way. When I am not organizing my shelf I just stick it in.

I haven't read it, but I intend to soon, but it is not a major priority on my TBR.

My friend bought the Kindle and he said it was pretty convenient and cheap (he is filthy rich).

I don't read love stories. So, anyone recommend any so I can also post.

Hello and welcome!

I am an addicted reader so once i start reading a book I don't put it down until I'm finished or tired. I read a chapter in about 10 to 15 min and a 700 page book a day or two.

J.K. Rowling makes Hermione say "Always the tone of surprise" a lot in the last two books

I sometimes like to think over what i read and asking questions helps. So I sometimes enjoy those questions. I am not so sure that is arrogant though, but that is a good question.

Your post is giving me second thoughts on seeing the movie. Like I said before some say its good others bad, sooooooooo I'm still not sure. But the book definitely was good. As a matter of fact I am currently re reading it. (I think I already posted that too:mrgreen:)

I dont think i wanna see it anymore because some people said it was good and others bad. And my friend told me the entire story of the movie. I think the book was better. Well they always are. So much more fun reading than watching.
I haven't read this book since it first came out and it's all abit of a blur (think I read it too quickly in my haste to find out what happened.) So I think I shall have to re-read and also get myself to see the film.I did the same thing. So I re-read the book and I understood it a lot better. It really helps. Hope you enjoy it.

I thought the future part wrapped it off pretty nicely. I could not believe the series was over so i re read it right after finishing it and I kinda understood it better because i had skipped some detail before. I love thhe Harry Potter Series.
Also if any ones
wondering the person that Teddy's (Tonk's and Lupin's Son) kissing at the end is Victoria (Bill and Fleur's Daughter).

Who has seen the movie and read the book.
I heard it was too much love and not enough action. Gonna go see it this weekend.
What are your thoughts on the book and what they missed in the movie.

What did you think of the Narnia series?

Okay so I hadn't read anything for ten days, before this morning. I don't know why but my mojo had gone and I just didn't feel like reading anything (I've Also have been cutting down on my time on the internet / BCF). However, in an attempt to rejuvenate my mojo, I started Harry Potter And The Half-blood Prince knowing that you can't go wrong with reading something you know you will enjoy. And also it was good preparation for the film I'm going to see soon. Low and behold, to my amazement I finished it a few hours ago.
Finished. - Harry Potter And The Half-Blood Prince.
9/10.
Now I'm back I'm going to keep going with Interview With A Vampire now and carry on from where I left off. This time I'm well and truly back in reading action.
Love the series. Wish there was a book 8. Also you will LOVE the seventh book but will be sad once it is finished. I read Book 7, 4 times in the past year and a half and am currently rereading the 6th.
