Unfortunatly a lot of the people I know claim reading is stupid. I hate that, just because at school you was seen as a square if you read books. Haha, I was never ashamed. I took OotP to school when it first came out and sat reading between lessons. The only person who bothered me was my English teacher who couldn't believe I was still reading it and threatening to tell me who died Its the main reason I came on here to be honest. My parents and brother read, but my mum only reads chic lit and dad and brother only read fantasy, so theres not a lot of variety there and I like reading all sorts! My boyfriend likes a lot of the stuff I read but his WoW needs come first...typical.

I passed my driving test

I have a feeling I won't need to read the book once he has done. Seriously, I settle down to read Potter and he reads The Colour of Magic and he stops me every few minutes to read out something funny. He is so banned from reading that near me now, lol!

I got him both The Colour of Magic and The Light Fantastic for our anniversary. Seems a bit of a daft anniversary present, but it was on his list of stuff he wanted and he had been going on about them for ages. I even put a little love note inside it

It was deffo my obsession with Buffy and Angel when I was growing up that made me love them! But then whenever a "scary" episode of a cartoon was played with vampires or witches they were always the best ones ^^ scary child, lol

So do I, mainly because I know I will never see it in the library again

Another problem with libraries is that I like to re-read books, so if I liked it I know I will end up buying it, which makes me think it was just pointless getting it from there the first time

Hello, Kylie told me that you had recently given up smoking and may have some tips =) My boyfriend quit last week and is very stressed. I wondered if you had any tips for him to take his mind off things. So far hes spent every night playing a computer game with me and another friend who also quit last week, and I think hes starting to get bored with that now. Any help would be appreciated =)

Haha, and another thing I have noticed is that with neighbours, all the big hyped up drama seems to go so fast. One minutes theres a fire, next scene they are all in hospital, compared to something like eastenders (which makes you want to pull out your eyes!) where they have the fire at the end of the episode so next episode they spend the entire half hour of just the damn fire! And then the episode after that they are either recovering OR the fire is STILL going on!

I do avoid TV now. I thought it would be a bit boring having the freeview box with it being very limited, but even when we had sky I never watched it, haha, so I don't know why I complained

I did watch it for some time then lost interest. My parents and brother watches it and coz i read downstairs while they are watching I tend to know whats going on anyway

I love the Noughts and Crosses series, can still read my favourite Enid Blyton books too I love Dan Brown books (a dangerous thing to admit), Jeffery Deavers crime books, LOTR and The Hobbit, Stardust, The Reader, some Cathy Kelly chick lit. I want to read some of my dads fantasy books, and on my TBR pile I have Battle Royale, King books, Austen books and Ann Rice books as you can tell, love variety, haha!

I am so uber stressed today with essays! I'm sure what I've written so far isn't right and I want to read Harry to take my mind of things

Haha, trust me, he has a very British sense of humour! I don't, I really don't get it and I live here! I think that must be why -but then again he finds a lot of stuff funny...

They really are the best band ever It is thanks to my friends that I love them so much, but my favourite album has to be Wishmaster. Love the fantasy

I saw them twice last year, disappointed I never got to see them when Tarja was in the band as I was much younger then and I had no way of getting to the gigs, but I like Anette live, amazed by some of the songs shes started singing now though
