Are you all set for Christmas? I've been running around like lunatic for the past few days and now I've just collapsed in a heap on the sofa with a cup of tea!
You should definitely come to Newcastle if possible. The place in the centre of the city is Jesmond Dene which was created by Lord Armstrong as a wedding gift to his bride! How romantic is that! Well if you did actually decide upon it, I could point you in the direction of the better places to live and the good pubs!

Sorry for the super late reply! Just got back from BF's parents house......I'm soooooo tired! Anyway I thought I'd just drop you a quick line to say I haven't disappeared off the face of the earth or been ran over by a bus etc! haa!
I have LOTS to say about Marcus 'Wolverine he wishes' Smith or whatever he's called but my brain isn't quite working!
I really don't like him and yeah......he thinks he's god's gift to the female race. Get the guy a mirror! yuck!

I thought the next book was due out this month so I went to Amazon to check the release date and it's not out until June!!! Devasted!!! It's such a relief to get the dissertation out the way isn't it. How did you get on with it? I've got one more hand in on Monday which is a group project and then we're all done and dusted. Scary or what!!! Eeeek! Have you heard any more about your next course?

I decided to actually do some reading instead of writing about reading for a change, but I can never stay away from the BCF for too long!
That title is pretty vague.....there must be a million different topics to choose from! My BFs Mum works in child protection in Teesside and she often talks about children's rights with relation to that. It's pretty interesting but seems like a pretty huge topic.
I'm so pleased for Joe bless him

Thought I'd just drop you a quick message to say that I've just read an article in the Evening Chronicle about a man posing as a black cab driver who is picking up girls from town and you can probably guess the rest. Evil
One girl lives along the road from me and is only 17! Poor thing!Anyway I thought I'd give you a heads up to be careful if you're out and about over Christmas. I always pre-book a taxi if I'm on my own and Ross can't get me but loads of my firends get black cabs after a night out.....it's scary:motz:
On a lighter note.....GO JOE!!!!!!!!!!

Tome Cruise is enough to let anything down! I much prefer Stuart Townsend although I'm too not sure he can act (which says a lot for Tom Cruise!
)Slumdog is AMAZING!! I put off seeing it as I thought it wasn't my thing but it's the best movie I've ever seen. There's no subtitles or crazy dancing (until the end credits) and the child actors are brilliant! It's just a fantastic movie.....I can't recommend it highly enough

Well I think the best order to read them in is:
The Constant Princess (I haven't read this but think it's about Katherine of Aragon coming to England to await her marriage to Prince Arthur and then Henry)
The Other Boleyn Girl (Katherine of Aragon and Anne Boleyn)
The Boleyn Inheritance (Anne of Cleves and Katherine Howard)
The Queens Fool (This book takes place after the death of Henry VIII and looks at the end of Edward VI's reign, then Mary I's reign and introduces Elizabeth I) I really loved this book
The Virgin's Lover (Elizabeth I) I have this book but haven't read it yet so I'm not sure how good it is.
The Other Queen (Mary Queen of Scots)
I don't think she has written about Jane Seymour or Katherine Parr yet unfortunately. Hope this helps

Yeah he had a great time thanks. We've just got back from a weeks holiday to end it in style. I'm truely knackered now and need a long sleep!
I used to forget the books I wanted to read too but then I started to use the notepad in the User CP and never forget anymore (think I need to delete a few to make space though! eeeeek!)

It's getting there. I've handed in the first part of my dissertation proposal so I know what I'm doing with that, but in a few weeks I've got to have a mock interview in front of the rest of the course!!!!!! Eeeeeeeeeek! I think I'd rather just throw myself in the river and be done with it!! haa! Everyone else has to do it too but it just seems like the lecturers have ot together to think of new ways to torture us this year......Mortifying!
