Me , I think the name Echo is so faerie and enchanting and gorgeous. And it suits that beautiful face. I think often children are cruel, oui, because they listen to the cruelty of their parents and emulate them.

Salut litle one and how are you eh? I have not spoken to you for a little and wonder how you do. I must tell you about my neighbor's cat Tilly Girl. She was saved from being put down oui, and she is the strangest cat! She scratches at our door like a dog and comes running in and will go to the fridge and wait for me to give her some treats. She seems so human it sometimes scares me !

When I go for walks alone and I look at the hills and the trees, so quiet and yet saying so much I think about life and by the time I am again in my little home I have found out something, however great or small about me and those I love. It helps to complete the puzzle and I am at peae and happy.

I lived in Calgary for a while, oui, and it was beautiful. And some adopted relatives , they ran in the chuck wagon races and rode the horses and all that. But it was breaking my heart, I cannot stand anything that looks unkind to the animals. I have been known to hide my cousins' heifers that they were taking for auction . And once, after a chicken was killed for lunch I called it by name and had to go sit in the bedroom for discipline since noone then wanted to eat Ralph. . the joke was on me though , because years later the doctor said I must eat at least chicken and fish to correct a blood disorder. Still I had a lot of fun there. You sound like a good and nice country boy, like many that I met at the barn dances and picnics, or the soft ball games. I am glad to know you.

Me,I had two of the mounties crush on me but they scared me. I am too shy for mounties I think. My girl friend's brother is in the RCMP, quite high up now I believe.

Me, I am sitting at computer, procrastinating , I injured my foot......again. You see, that is what comes of dancing and walking for miles a long time. One day, the feet they say" forget about it, we quit. . Now comes the therapy and all the boring stuff and I must do it in between work and home. But, the sun she is smiling at me through the window , and my heart is at rest.

Here, there is one lone little flower who has come to the garden, and I scoop her up with the dirt, put her in a charming pot and give it to you. voila, now you have a peace of our little garden to make you smile.

A Mac, Genevieve she has been away for a while, so exhausted, but to come back and see you say 'my friend' oui,it was so wonderful and as my little one says ' I have water in my eyes' and that is truth.

About my crazy speech mon ami, I tell you that I can speak perfectly in English, I have to when I am writing. No problem. It is like wearing the soft cozy slippers in the stillness of early morning when the others are still slumbering. I love the blossoms, pink and feminine and fragrant. Today the little one and I , we took a lovely walk with another mama oui, and we smelled so many blossoms along the way I was quite intoxicated by the time we return.

I must admit I love spring but do not like summer, non it is too much for me. By then so many flowers are faded and the dust is bad between rains; the earth seems tired and ooh la la all that hot sweaty and some times Much flesh showing everywhere. I feel quite ill.

What are you doing with your days mon ami, quiet things or are you in the hurry?

And that dear little one, did you say neice or nephew, do you get to hold her much and kiss the dear little face?

I must go and make a supper but my eyes they are trying to close and my hands they are trying to grab on to a nice soft bed.

But a great supper must be made or I will have to leave home.

Ihave to say I liked very much your comment about the prison system.

I have known only a handful of people in years and years who , coming out claimed a higher life for themselves. The rest went back over and over and some had terrible anxiety oui, when it came time to leave the prison.

If only people understand the damage they do to the little ones when they are not careful of their tender feelings and needs.

But I think you have great wisdom.
