Hi there s.gal83. You're bound to have a smashing time using this forum. Everyone is lovely and friendly (no frightening people are allowed!).
I actually don't have an aerial or receiver for my telly, so haven't had a TV licence for many years - I agree with you. TV's rubbish! I love films, though, and I buy the excellent series that look as though I'll like them on DVD. So. To illustrate further, I own a telly, but don't watch programmes beamed at it. I buy and choose my entertainment. Good, eh???
Anyway. Hoping this finds you very well and enjoying the site.
Mac.

Hiya Frankie. It's been about a thousand years or so since I said hi. I thought I'd pop in, 'cos I noticed on Catwoman's thread that you've been bigging-up the Dexter novels. This pleases me, as I've just bought all four! I'll be getting on to them before too long (I bought all four because I had dozens of book tokens given to me by my colleagues as a leaving present).
How are you doing? Have you persuaded your OH to join the site yet, rather than commenting over your shoulder?
Take care, mate (you were my first friend on here!).

Hiya Giulia. I'm off work today - burnt out a little over the last few weeks with so little sleep and complete madness to deal with during the days - so have time to read, nap and watch a few DVD's.
How are you doing, my lovely friend? What's goin' down in Groovetown? x
-
Hiya Giulia. I'm sorry to read that you're feeling so low. If it's any consolation, I am sending you a virtual cuddle right now and am wishing that I could say something that would make you feel a little more chipper.
As it goes, you have my support, albeit over the web. xx

Hiya Giulia. I've been extra-rubbish lately. Please forgive my cack-ness. How are you doing? Did you go to the HGTTG thingy? I'd have loved that!
Hoping you are very well, my friend. X

Hiya Kate. Just popped by to say "Mmmmm...Belle..."
I appreciate that many of my friends prefer Ariel, The Little Mermaid, but it's Belle for me every time. I mean, come on, she's gorgeous, brunette, with big brown eyes, loves reading and, man, when she wears that yellow off-the-shoulder number....
*sounds of Mac howling as if to a full moon

Hiya Kate. Of course, you PM'd me and I completely got sidetracked and forgot to write back - I'm really sorry.
I'm not 'feeling' the Charlaine Harris books at the moment - not sure why. It might be just one of those odd Macthings I get. Would you like to post it on to the next person on the list?
How are things with you, my friend? Lovely wedding picture top left, by the way - love the hair! x

Hiya Kate. Well, my GF is trying very hard to make things work, which is nice, but I'm finding things quite difficult on that front (I'm a bit messed up, currently!) but I'll sort myself out soon. I'm thinking of trying some Hypnotherapy again, 'cos it worked really well last time - it's just really expensive.
I'll finish my application for the job this weekend, so fingers crossed, eh! It could be another two years before I get into the police force, so I have to go for this job - I'm losing my mind where I am at the moment!
Are you planning any lovely trips away this year? I'm hoping to get down to Cornwall towards the end of the year. It gets really wild down there. Love it.
Have a great weekend.
Matt Mac

Hiya Kelly. It's been ages, 'cos I've been rubbish. Truly rubbish. How are you? Things have been getting me down, recently and I have been hiding in plain sight, working my backside into the ground and then sticking a blanket over my head when I've been getting in. So, I'm sorry for not being much of a presence on here of late. I hope you are well and that things are okay with you.
I love Belle. If I could marry a cartoon, it'd be her. What's not to love? Long, auburn hair; big, brown eyes; that foxy, off-the-shoulder number she wears; and she loves books!
Hope you're well, my friend. Take care. X

Hiya Noll. Happy New Year, mate. I hope you've had an ace Christmas and that you've been able to put your feet up, chilled to the max.
As per usual, I've spent most of the festive season with a blanket over my head (figuratively speaking, of course!), but have finally relocated my mojo. Peace be with me.
Hoping this finds you terribly well and groovy. Cheers!

Hiya Sarah. It's been ages! How're you doing? Would you like to read one of my very silly letters? It might make you chuckle...
Hope you're really well, chum of mine.
-
Hiya Sarah. Just dropping by to say hello and see how you're doing. I read some of your posts on the debating room depression thread. Not all blokes feel the way SKM feels currently.
Well, me and my mates don't anyway! I hope you're having a wonderful weekend over there and that this finds you well and happy.x

Hiya. I noticed on Dan's thread that you've borrowed Norwegian Wood. Its beauty is second to none. I hope you enjoy it. Check out my review of it on Mac Reads 2009 if you think it might tantalise your taste for it.
Hope you're excellent and well, friend of mine.

Hiya. I'm really enjoying Miss Smilla's Feeling For Snow - it's an unusual tale, but I've really warmed to it. I'm about three quarters of the way through, now, so will put my full thoughts on my reading blog when I've done (I've been so busy lately that I've hardly had time to read!)
How're you doing? Everything okay with you? xx

Hiya. I've been hiding for roughly one thousand years in a cave in my living room. Banks is, as you say, quite brilliant. I really loved The Steep Approach to Garberdale too. The only one I didn't like was A Song Of Stone, but one out of all those isn't a bad ratio.
How are things with you?
I hope this finds you well. Take care. x

Hoooooo. So, nope, I just drove along the M5, the A30 and the A39 to Helston, then along some other road to Porthleven. I pop down two to three times a year. Love it. The weather was gorgeous.
Funnily enough, I hate Social Networking Sites also. Take things like this for example: Kathryn (my cousin) is soooo happy that she's found her favourite sofa in Borders available
Kathryn is soooo pleased to be arriving home after the trials of shopping
or
Kathryn is soooo down on this whole walking the dog in the rain issue
WHO CARES, YOU NARCISSISTIC MORON?!?
And what's with all the sheep throwing? If someone chucked a sheep at me, I'd be tempted to punch them in the teeth, the bloody idiots.
Anyway. How're you doing? It must be difficult with OH being 3,000 odd miles away.
