Ayup. I teach drums, guitar and bass to a bunch of youngsters around the local area. I've been playing since I was a young'un and like to pass it on.
I work with adults with learning disabilities as a day job and do tonnes of volunteer work with the Scouts and the Duke of Edinburgh Award. Busy, busy, busy. I notice you're looking at the Michel Faber thread. The Courage Consort's a good novella.
Where are you from originally? Where will you return to once the rotation's have finished?
Hope this finds you really well.

The Crimson Petal and the White is a fantastic book. It has made a massive impact on me - not that it's earth-shattering or anything like that - it was just a very, very well written, absorbing novel. Everyone I recommend it to has loved it. I hope you will too.
I work in day services for the folks, trying to make things a little happier for them. It's poorly paid, but then, these jobs are vocational, really. I've applied to become a police officer, so we'll see how that goes.
Alabama, eh? I've never been there. I have been to the States a number of times, mostly with my old band, but Alabama is somewhere I'd like to see first hand.

Hi Andrea. How's The Magic Cottage going? I think I might want to re-read it.
My weekend begins now, having just finished teaching for the day, so I'm putting my feet up before nipping out to pick my girlfriend up from work at 5. Then it's a day of sloth tomorrow, on my own, reading, watching a film or two, cooking something nice, you know the type of day!
How're things with you? All tickety-boo, I'm hoping. Cheers, now!

Afternoon, Scarlette. How're things going? I'm having a weekend of peace, food, beer and wine (on my own, which sounds a little sad, but occasionally I really need it). I won't get bladdered or anything, just leisurely take my time with all of the above.
Usually, I'd be out climbing right now, but my lovely climbing buddy, Katy, is away and I CBA to hook up with anyone else, so here I am having a lazy time of it! Wahey!
What're your plans? Lots of fun, I hope. Take good care, pal.

The MA sounds grand, Nic. My summer's been busy, really - full of scouts and DofE and all that jazz. Back to school on Monday, which I'm a bit bummed out about, but I have plans to set up my own business here in the Peak District. Maybe two years and I won't have to work with naughty kids! What have you been up to? 'Owt good? xx

Hi Sarah. Yep, read them all. Every one is very different from the last. He's an exceptional writer. Check him out. I think you'll really like Under The Skin in particular. The Crimson Petal and the White is a masterpiece. Hope you're very well.

Hiya Kate. Just popped by to say "Mmmmm...Belle..."
I appreciate that many of my friends prefer Ariel, The Little Mermaid, but it's Belle for me every time. I mean, come on, she's gorgeous, brunette, with big brown eyes, loves reading and, man, when she wears that yellow off-the-shoulder number....

Aaaaaand here we are. Faffing about on a Saturday evening at nine o'clock, spazzing out because I'm supposed to be at a birthday party, unable to go precisely because of my general spazziness. My friend Katy wants me to go (it's her birthday) and will be upset because I haven't trolled over there, but I can't manage it. Total doughnut, that's me.
What a to-do. Social anxiety, and I only get it with the people that I love when they're mixing with people I don't know that well. Never get it when I'm in a crowd of strangers. Odd and spazzy, that's my middle name. Or names, I guess.
How are you, Giu? I'm coming down your way on 25th June. Art around, my friend? Coffee? Cake? Conflab? xx

Ahoy there! Just whizzing by to make nautical sounding greetings towards you. I hope you had a splendid Christmas and a bloomin' marvellous new years eve doo-dah and that everything in your world is tickety-boo and pucker.
Chips! x

It's something one learns to accept and deal with, when one is so pretty...:-o
Scouts is brilliant, provided the Leaders are suitably young-at-heart and have a good sense of adventure, which they generally do. My troop and my Explorer Scout Unit seem to have a great time but, again, THAT might have something to do with just how frickin' handsome I am...
