Yo! Blood Brother by Jack Kerley is magic! Have you read the first three? They're all belters, my friend. Oh, yes! I get, like, reeeeeaaaaaaallllly excited when another one of this guy's books comes out...

I pootled about my garden, having some 'me' time. I don't get a lot of that! I'm sorry you're feeling under the weather, Sarah. I hope you're feeling a lot better now! x

Things with me are reasonable, many thanks. I'm busy doing many different things and finding less time to read, dammit, but it's my own fault for volunteering for so much stuff.
Injuries??? What injuries, my friend? Has someone harmed you in any way? Send me their address!
How do I get to read the stuff you're writing? I'd like to have a look.
Hope you're not too stressed. Take good care, Giulia.
P.S. Did I spell your name correctly? If not, please forgive me, I mean not to offend.

Ahoy, there, Kate! Just dropping by to say hello and see how you're doing. I have been extraordinarily busy, of late. This weekend I have been to my aunty's 50th birthday party. Many of us are obliged to do a 'turn' at these things, and of course I had to acquiesce to her wishes. However, the 'entertainment' was pretty much abysmal and the do was not something I enjoyed. I just wanted to drive home!
Which is where I am now. I've been head-hunted for a job working with challenging kids in a secondary school in a run-down area, which I'm probably going to take. So this is good news. It's for the same money, but with less hours and longer holidays, so I'd be a mug not to take it.
I hope you're very, very well and happy, that you're having an excellent time with your boyfriend and that work has ceased to be quite the stress-inducing experience you were finding it.
Take good care, my friend.

Hiya. I'm really enjoying Miss Smilla's Feeling For Snow - it's an unusual tale, but I've really warmed to it. I'm about three quarters of the way through, now, so will put my full thoughts on my reading blog when I've done (I've been so busy lately that I've hardly had time to read!)
How're you doing? Everything okay with you? xx

One piece of advice I would give would be, during the day itself, make sure that you both stop and take stock of everything that's happening around you, with you and for you. The day will shoot by. Hold each others hand, see what's going on and recognise that it is all for the two of you, for the celebration of the two of you. It will be wonderful. :friends0:

What's your job, working girl? (That sounded wrong - I meant 'girl who works', not the other definition of the phrase...oh...I'll shut up now...)
So, I'm wanting to change jobs - you could have mine, if you wanted! I'm not sure what I really want to do. Life has thrown some spanners occasionally which have threatened to derail me, so I'm wanting to make a good decision for once.
I hope this finds you very well. Take care and enjoy!

Aloha. All the Dexter books are excellent (so far - this is the third) and I'm enjoying this one also. I sometimes have to leave books at home so I don't get them out at work and this is one of them. The kids would feel disgruntled if I were to pay more attention to a novel than them.
"Aw, Sir! You're really boring!"
"Yeah? Well, you're a prat, but I can put my book down!"
Idiots.

Hello, my friend. I've not popped by for a while, so thought I'd say hi and see how things are. We had real fun with the flippin' snow during the early stages of this month. I hope you weren't affected during that day when loads of people were stranded.
What's new in your part of the world, fella? I think we're still coming down in three weeks or so and I cannot wait. It's been nearly two years since I visited the family's place in Porthleven. I spend most of my annual leave doing Scout stuff or the Duke of Edinburgh Award. I'm actually lucky I've got this week coming up. I need the break.
Maybe a beer might be in order, if we can arrange things around each other? No worries if not, mind. But beer is always good.
Hope you're very well, mate.

Hey, Sarah. How are things going? I like your post on love. I think love is a brilliant thing, and believe in it very strongly - as long as it's not me that falls into it!!! My heart turned to stone long ago. I'm a RIGHT grumpy b*****d now! xx

Hey Giulia. Really looking forward to reading some more of your stuff. Hoping you're very well, chum of mine.

Hey, Giulia! It's great to hear from you. Things are all right with me, thanks. Working like a thing that works a lot, but that's me all over - I think I'd cark (if you'll excuse the word) if I stopped! So. Are you in the UK or somewhere more exotic and exciting? And have you heard from Sarah (chrysalis_stage) at all? Happy thoughts winging their way to you, my friend. xx

Hey Frankie. I've been so busy this past number of days that I've not been on the internet at all! Towards the end of the film, I was concentrating very, very hard on what I was doing over the weekend ahead, purposefully not looking at the screen. I'm a dreadfully soft chap when it comes to animals...
