Thanks for letting me know how you did with the Bray book.. I'll still give it a try, but now I'll be more inclined to let it go if the beginning doesn't grab me. Always helpful to get a recommendation to work through the rough bits, or just move on to something better.

So you probably got through some of "Plain Truth" by now.. We've been out of town for a long weekend so I'm just now getting the msg. How are you liking it??

Also, just ran across a series the other day that I'm thinking of trying.. It SEEMS like it will be sort of chick-litty but is set in the early 1900's (if I remember correctly..) The novels are called "The Luxe Novels" and are by Anna Godbersen. You may want to look at them since it combines a time period you like with some chick-litty topics, if you're still in the mood for that.
