  1. Bonjour Geneveive - the Angels are holding me "in the pink!"

Sorry for the delay in replying it's been a little while since I've been here, but as usual, it's lovely to hear from you.

If you have any favourite Angel books or information, Geneveive, I'd love to hear from you on "Getting into the Spirit of things" the thread I started for just such angelic/spiritual chats. I've invited anyone to post their own comments there, and put my own favourite quotes and books there too for the info of anyone interested in knowing Spirit better.

Spreading the word of the Angels and other spiritual friends is a very enjoyable task - the more of us who do so, the better!

With Angel Blessings for your weekend my friend - Enjoy yourself.

  2. Bonjour Genevieve -

Thank you for your good wishes.

Do you read any fiction books on the Celtic peoples? If so, you may be interested in Juliet Marillier's "Sevenwaters" series - it's my own favourite, and I always have my copies at hand. It starts with "Daughter of the Forest" and so far there are 4 in the series, which is set largely in Ireland, just as the Christian faith was taking hold there.

I've just recently found Jules Watson too. Her series (starting with The White Mare) is set ancient Scotland, and.... I'm hooked!

You may find some of the Barbara Erskine novels interesting, too - many are based or involving ancient Wales.

Mansfield Park is one of my favourite Austen novels, I also like Persuasion.

Will go for now, or I'll have to shorten this message!

Angel Blessings to you, Geneveive - Booknutt.

  3. Glad to have a fellow Austen-fan here, Phoebe! I hope you're loving the site. It can be a bit of a faff getting settled in as I well know, but worth the graft of the first few visits.

As lola-rose says there are already Austen threads running, where you can catch up on the views of other folks, and post your own. Have you read JA before? She can be a bit of a challenge for a first-timer to get into, but once comfortable with her style - a wonderful "read".

Hope to see you there, (and about the rest of the site, too) new friend -

    Bye for now - Booknutt

  4. Happy Birthday Roland - hope you got lots of great "reads", or even better ... book tokens!

... and always remember - you're never "older" - just one year more "mature".

  5. Have a Merry Christmas, Alison.

Go steady on the body-bashing alcohol - and make up for it in the food!

  6. Hello Geneveive -

Just popped in for a quick browse - and to send you Angel blessings! Hope life is treating you well, fellow bookworm! Take care - Love and Light, Booknutt

  7. Hello Genevieve -

I've been about the site a little recently, but frankly, since it seems to be difficult to actually get chatting with anyone, there's little temptation to drop in frequently! Still - I live in hope - maybe my choice of books or topics doesn't suit most people?

Winter is here in Britain, and I'm settling-in for it with a new knitting project, and a few sequel-novels to the Jane Austen range of stories, plus a few biographies. There are a few positives to the coldest season, aren't there?

Angel Blessings to you, fellow book lover - take good care of yourself.

  8. Hello Genevieve

Yes, I love my avatar picture too - she's the Angel of Blessings. I'm heavily into Angels, and have many figures, books, posters etc., around me. I chose her so she can send blessings to all who see her, on the forum. Enjoy all your blessings, Genevieve.

  9. Hello Nici - great to hear from a fellow Angel-lover. Have you read Diana Cooper's "Angel Answers"?. It's a wonderful, loving, informative book - a true message direct from the Angels to us. Diana does us all such a fantastic service in channeling the Angels. I admire her, and her work, greatly.

Have a great Easter weekend, Nici - I'm sending Easter Angels to you, to make sure!

  10. Hi again, Alison.

Maybe we should start a club here?! I'm sure there are a few more M.E.-ites on here.

I'm going gently on the falling-down-liquid over the festive season myself (best not to give the body too much of an additonal bashing) but the good news is I can stock up on mince pies, stollen, and shortbread intead. Lovely grub!

    Merry Christmas Alison.

  11. Hi Geneveive - thanks for your "visit".

I'm reading "Healing with the Fairies" by Doreen Virtue at the moment, where we learn how to work with the Fairies and Nature Spirits to heal not only ourselves, but the planet, too. It's a wonderful "read", and if you'd like to bring a bit of real magic into your life - get yourself a copy! Take care, posting-friend - With Angel and Fairy blessings to you.

  12. Hi Genevieve

I hope you're enjoying the site, and getting well-settled, now. It can take a bit of time to do so, but very worth the effort!

Isn't it great to talk books, books, books as much as we want? The only frustrating thing is - there's so many!

"See" you around the threads - Booknutt

  13. Hi Lola-Rose - what a lovely name you've got!

It's good to hear that there's another Austen-newbie around, so we'll be meeting on the her threads. I was a bit annoyed to miss the chat last year, but maybe us "young 'uns" can generate a new interest again?

It's a bit slow getting around things (for me, anyway) at present, as I'm not very computer-aware, and a bit scatterbrained into the bargain, but I hope to be actually enjoying the experience, very soon.

It's nice to "chat" to you, Lola-Rose. Bye for now - Booknutt

  14. Hi Maureen - thanks for popping by my "C.V." for a looksee. It's a bit boring yet, as I'm still wet behind the ears, but time will tell more!

I do like the site, though.

Hope to "see" you around - Booknutt

  15. Hi my friend - just to let you know that the "dream come true" that you wished me a few weeks ago - has! Just this morning something I'd been working hard on self-healing over, for years now, entered my life! Despite the gloomy day outside, the sun has been shining for me today, Geneveive. I'm sure you helped - no good wishes go wasted - so thank you, Geneveive.

May the Angels pour blessings into your life.

  16. Hi Roxi

It was great to meet you on the Jane Austen thread. You're a bit "older" than me here - by a few weeks - and I'm quite a bit older than you in years - but I'm sure that won't stop us enjoying the novels together, Roxi. That's one of the joys of reading - it spans the generations. Hopefully we'll gather a few other Jane-ites before launch-date. Bye for now, Roxi - Booknutt

  17. Hi Talisman - how are you these days?

I'm never here as regularly as I'd like to be - 'cos I usually spend so long, that I put it off till I've "time" - which happens rarely, but it's always interesting to stop by for a visit. I'm currently heavily into Fairies, and Stephanie Barron's "Jane Austen" detective novels. One extreme to another! Hope All is Well with you. Farewell for the present, fellow Bookworm.

  18. Hiya Lola-Rose

Things are showing signs of life on the Jane Austen thread - if you'd like to pop along there? So far Northanger Abbey seems a likely first choice.(See the chat on the P & P thread) Bring along a few mates if anyone else is interested! Bye for now - Booknutt

  19. Hiya Zmae -

I'm a fellow Austen-fan and at the moment on the hunt for anyone who may be interested in joining me in reading any of the Austen novels, and posting our thoughts on the threads as we go along to compare and discuss our views. It makes it much more interesting when reading through a book that way don't you think?

By now you may be finished "Emma" but if you're interested in starting another of the novels - I'd love to join you! Let me know if you fancy the idea, I'm not fussy which book is chosen, as I've got them all.

  20. Just checking that I remembered to say "thanks" for adopting me, Roxi. I'm a bit scatterbrained, as you'll learn - but harmless.

    Have a great weekend.

  21. Happy Birthday Kylie - isn't it great when the Big Day falls on a Friday? Make it last - all over the weekend!

  22. Have a Happy weekend, Genevieve. I'm sending golden Easter Angels to hold you in peace.

  23. Hello Geneveive - It's nice to hear from you again, and I hope things are going well for you, bookworm friend. Yes - I've seen my own Guardian Angel (a beautiful sight) and some time before that, a Home Angel. When I realised just what my eyes were beholding ... I fainted!! Well, let's fact it, it's hardly an everyday occurence! Sending you Angel blessings, and my own best wishes, Geneveive.

  24. Hi Echo - thank for your birthday wishes. I'm still mulling-over what to do with the book tokens I got - any suggestions?

  25. Hi Fishy! - thanks for yor good wishes on my birthday.
