  1. I'm gonna have to read The Princess Bride.. I wonder if its anything like the movie. (though I haven't seen that either)
  2. Which book have you started now? I got your text about the Harry Potter book....so which did you choose?
  3. But why? Granted...I wasn't overly happy with the ending either, but once I read Phury's book, I was better about it... It didn't suck so much then.
  4. *runs to Amazon.com* Great...just what i need, another way to spend my money...
  5. Not happiness through a female? I suppose..... It better be a good ending then..
  6. That is true... I was told by Wynters that she got most of the JD Robb books off of Amazon for something like $1 a book...
  7. That they are... and you're right. None are ever completely ever truly happy...yet they all are given the gift of love... now I believe it's Tohr's turn.
  8. .....beat it with a bat?
  9. Very much so!! I love it here.... *gets comfy*

  10. Oh! I'm thinking that she may do one on him too...HOPEFULLY... I'd love to see him happy...
  11. LIBRARY?! *sighs* perhaps....
  12. Yeah, I can't see her doing more than the couple last extras... Wait, have all the brothers been done??
  13. Oh I'm sure it'll be worth it... I just have to find the money to buy the first four...
  14. You know, I've been quite curious about that myself... They skip in the future to show her...yet they don't go any further into it... hmmm... Um, I've heard rumors of a book for John (for obvious reasons) and then I think she'll be doing one for Qhuinn...*hopefully*
  15. That's ok... I'm as intrigued by Z as I am a certain unattainable person in RL. So, I can handle Z for now...
  16. Blood Noir wasn't GREAT but it was better than The Harlequin. Which I had that was better than Danse Macabre. So hopefully it stays true to form, and Skin Trade is better that Blood Noir. Yeah. That had been the plan...but didn't work out that way. But now I'm so doggone confused, that I have to put aside til I get to numbers 1-4.
  17. Of course Burghead, anytime. I am absolutely in love with these books. They are great!! I'm glad to help. Thanks...now everytime I think of Rhage, I'ma think of that certain someone.... Now I have to find a new brother...
  18. LMAO.. Somehow it doesn't surprise me that you randomly think of the books. But I agree, I believe that Qhuinn may be the newest Rhage. Which would be quite ok with me... Gotta love all the Rhage's in the world
  19. I third that... I believe I'm going to go poor trying to buy all the books I want....
  20. The books are, from first to last, Dark Lover, Lover Eternal, Lover Awakened, Lover Revealed, Lover Unbound, and Lover Enshrined. All by J.R. Ward. Here are the descriptions from the back of the books. Dark Lover: In the shadows of the night in Caldwell, New York, there's a deadly turf war going on between vampires and their slayers. There exists a secret band of brothers like no other-six vampire warriors, defenders of their race. Yet none of them relishes killing more than Wrath, the leader of The Black Dagger Brotherhood. The only purebred vampire left on earth, Wrath has a score to settle with the slayers who murdered his parents centuries ago. But, when one of his most trusted fighters is killed-leaving his half-breed daughter unaware of his existence or her fate-Wrath must usher her into the world of the undead-a world of sensuality beyond her wildest dreams. Lover Eternal: Within the brotherhood, Rhage is the vampire with the strongest appetite. He's the best fighter, the quickest to act on his impulses, and the most voracious lover-for inside him burns a ferocious curse cast by the Scribe Virgin. Possessed by this dark side, Rhage fears the times when his inner dragon is unleashed, making him a danger to everyone around him. When Mary Luce is unwittingly thrown into the vampire world, she must rely on Rhage's protection. Knowing that Mary feels the same intense animal attraction, Rhage must make her his alone... Lover Awakened: Even within the vampire brotherhood, Zsadist is feared. Still bearing the scars from a tortured past, he is renowned for his unquenchable fury. Anger is his only companion, and terror is his only passion-until he rescues a beautiful female from the evil Lessening Society. Lover Revealed: Butch O'Neal is a fighter by nature. A hard-living ex-homicide cop, he's the only human ever to be allowed in the inner circle of the Black Dagger Brotherhood. And he wants to go even deeper into the vampire world-to engage in the turf war with the lessers. His heart belongs to a female vampire, Marissa, an aristocratic beauty who's way out of his league. And if he can't have her, then at least he can fight side by side with the Brothers. But fate curses him with the very thing he wants. When Butch sacrifices himself to save a civilian vampire from the slayers, he falls prey to the darkest force in the war. Left for dead, he's found by a miracle, and the Brotherhood calls on Marissa to bring him back, though even her love may not be enough to save him. Lover Unbound: The ruthless and brilliant brother Vishous possesses a destructive curse and a frightening ability to see the future. As a member of the Brotherhood, he has no interest in love or emotion, only the battle with the Lessening Society. But when a mortal injury puts him in the care of a human surgeon, Dr. Jane Whitcomb compels him to reveal his inner pain and taste true pleasure for the first time-until a destiny he didn't choose takes him into a future that does not include her... Lover Enshrined: As Primale of the Chosen, the fiercely loyal Phury has sacrificed himself for the good of his race. But his first mate, the Chosen Cormia, wants not only his body but his heart for herself. As tragedy looms over the Brotherhood's mansion, Phury must decide between duty and love . . .
  21. I agree.. I can't wait for Lover Avenged to come this April. Though I'd have to say that my favorite brother is still Rhage. He stole my heart from "go". And Zsadist is the most intriguing! to me
  22. Ok, I just thought that this thread should be started.. I like many people I know am absolutely enthralled by these books. So I was curious as to if anyone has read these books. If so, which brother is your favorite? Any discussion is welcomed. I'm very interested in finding out what others think!
  23. Yep, Skin Trade is the newest Anita Blake book to come out. I'm looking forward to it. Blood Noir was a little bit better...more like the beginning books. Which is wonderful. And yeah, I'm liking Veil of Midnight...it's just that being so far from the beginning of the series, it's kind of confusing. But the story line thus far has been good, I just need to get the first four books first.
