I love bookmarks. Friends often buy me them as gifts as they know what a bookworm I am. I collect those leather ones from places I've visited. My favourite bookmarks to actually use are the magnetic ones because they don't fall out, especially when travelling!

I was read to as a child and loved stories. I too loved the Nancy Drew books, and Point Horror, but stopped reading for pleasure through secondary school. At college we started reading A Clockwork Orange in class and I was so blown away by it I took it home and finished it that night. Never stopped reading since and did Eng. Lit for my degree. Some books are just so amazing you pick up the next one in the hope of the same buzz! Escapism is a major reason too!

I've only just finished The Satanist. I found it in the loft in pile of books I'd inherited, and I really enjoyed it. The Satanist is not even meant to be the best of his black magic books. I went straight out and bought The Devil Rides Out and To the Devil A Daughter and have put them in my staggeringly high 'to read' pile!
