  1. Oh well. Someone tried to make me watch it when I was younger, and when someone tries to make me do something I refuse. :P
  2. Okay, I'll hush. :D How're you doing otherwise?
  3. 'crotalus_p has not received any visitor messages.'

    Awwhhh.... :(

YUSS! I *can* remember to do it! But yes, I am, indeed, a tit. Maybe I should make that my title. 'Roxi S.C. - BCF Reviewer - Tit.'

I posted the review in my thread and on my blog. And on the BCF blog, obviously. Theres links to all of them in my signature, 'blog' 'reviews (BCF)' and '2009 A-Z' goes to my thread.

Your back hurts coz you were walking around?? Humans are dvsigned to walk around you know... I'm kidding, I'm kidding! Don't throw things :(

The books I bought are in the 'what books came into your home' thread but prolly a couple pages back now, so:

    Middlesex - J. Eugenides

    Angelina's Children - A. Ferney

The Book Of Lost Things - John Connolly

The Sunday Philosophy Club - Alexander McCall Smith

    :D

  5. *makes you mash with carrots* =]

My day was alright thank you, I actually attended a lecture *proud* Skipped the second in favour of playing Risk on my laptop though....

    How are you?

  6. I used to have a mug that said, 'never put off until tomorrow what you can put off for good.' It had a picture of an ostrich with it's head stuck in the sand. That mug was a little bit inspirational in my childhood

I hope everything goes well too - he knows I like him, I have NO idea what he makes of me, and apparently I'm meeting him on Tuesday :lol:

  7. :P

I won't pull either, I'll be nice

  8. Actually I already assigned ii, she's both 'the stylish one' and 'the tiny dangerous one'  So you can have the gossip one if you like (or you can have both) But I'll put you down as the gangster now :D

It's been going around Facebook for a while, lots of people put them up with their friends or classes tagged. :D I put Charm as the good friend and the slow one, Ben is the ladies man and the 'annoying one' (his choice, not mine) Nici is the princess, Lexie is the one whose always up to no good

Ahahah. I don't blame you for giving it only a 7, I wouldn't give it more than 8 myself, though I'm a harsh critic even about what I love. It was very much the concept and execution of the earlier book I loved, so I dock marks for the last 1/3 of the book, which floundered a little too much. She could have shaved off 150 pages and written a different ending - perhaps one that resulted in his death before they got together?

    *kisses*

  10. Ahh lovely! I think it was a pretty sunny day here but I wasn't outside at all, because my hair isn't washed and I'm lazy! As you saw, I was inside eating sausage sandwiches instead :D

Going back to my college house tomorrow though, so I'll have to start studying for exams!

You started a social work course recently didn't you? Or you were planning to? I haven't been talking to you in ages, and I've a terrible memory! How's it going?

    x

  11. Apologies, Inver! I never remember who is where, beyond 'UK' But it's the same from all UK countries - even Northern Ireland!!

I am whizzing through books - they're all short light reads, but I'm really enjoying them. And I saw your note about Light On Snow in the book activity thread too - I had seen you and other people mentioning it, which is why I picked it up :D It was only €1.50 in the charity shop.

  12. Awh thank you. :)

I suspect being around my extremely ill mother has just made me sick all over again. :(

  13. Awh, how sweet! Thank you! I know, she's totally underrated isn't she? I don't actually like John Travolta, or Olivia Newton John all that much - so the whole Rizzo and Kenicke thing was much more my preferred storyline. Sandy changes who she is in the end to be cool, which sucks - but Rizzo stays herself the whole time, we just learn to see that she has different sides to her, which are all pretty cool really.

    I'm rambling.

  14. Awwhhh :friends0:

I know how much that sucks though, I've applied for about 5 or 7 and I've not heard back either. There's a few more places I can apply, but none of them are places actually looking for employees, so the chances of getting work there are pretty minimal. Relying on my clipboarding thing now, really

  15. Awwwhh you're too kind, believe me! There's a reason I have a weight loss thread running! I don't look good in real life though. It's neat that I look like your sister! I get told I look like a lot of people :D

I love Wuthering Heights, it's my favourite classic I think, though I also love Pride And Prejudice now that I have read it, and Oscar Wilde is a hero of mine - his wit and humor were wonderful!

Have a perfect day too :D

  16. Awwwhhh thank you! It is really terrible, it lasted about 3-4 minutes which is a long time when your vision is so impaired you lose balance  I get a bit panicky coz I start thinking, 'what if it never stops!!!' but yeah.

Was worse the last two times it happened: (both times I actually blacked out) once going down a flight of outdoor concrete stairs, and smacked my head on the steps. Another time in the shower - came to lying under the water flow, choking on it :( Very scary.

I'm feeling much better now though! Made WAY too much pasta, but at least some of its in my tummy-box!

  17. Chimera I'm making a Mr. Men thing on Facebook - basically it's various Mr. Men with silly names and I'm tagging BCF members on it (e.g I'm 'The One Who Swears A Lot' and Lexiepiper is 'The One Who Is Up To No Good' etc.

I want to put you on there, but I'm not sure what to put you as?

    You've a choice of:

    The Good Little Church Girl

    The Grumpy One

    The Gangster

    The Lazy One

    The Drama Queen

    The Goodie Two Shoes

    The Flirt

The One With All The Gossip

  18. Coz I likes it!

better than pulling your hair, right?

  19. Dear, if I could answer those questions, would I be asking you waht I should read?

I have: Neil Gaiman's Graveyard Book. Molly Keane - Good Behaviour (irish book) The Kite Runner, Salman Rushdie's Midnight Children, A Christmas Carol, Jane Austen (not happening) and a few more.

Oh and I didn't notice I'd hit the 1000 mark. Wahey!

  20. Did I ever thank you for congratulating me on my exams? If not, sorry! I'm terribly bad at keeping up with these visitor comments.

You're a Twi-hard! AHAHAHA! I told you that would happen.

In other news, should I get gerbils?

  21. Doesn't everybody hate lawyers?

Like I said in the thread, just applied for that clipboarding job. I can't imagine it's any worse than dealing with mothers/families/businessmen/snobs/scum buying their shopping. Same people, different product.

I don't think I'm going to sleep tonight.

  22. Geese unnerve me a little, because they really watch you carefully as you pass rather than running away, and I'm always a tiny bit nervous that they'll try and bite me or something  But the ones at the lough are pretty tame really.

Ugh, I has a blister on mah foot :(

  23. God only knows.

And its not even spammy threads like 'last letter word thingy' or 'word association' - I virtually never do that!

  24. Nollaig

    God.

I went to my Philosophy class this morning like a good little student. Screw that. I'm so sick lol. I was trying not to cough (because obviously it's disgusting to be coughing all the time in a confined place like a classroom.) And that lead to watery eyes and choking it was awful. I'm just not going to class tomorrow.

Ugh. And I had a load of hassle with the bank today (which I posted in the Whats Up Today thread if you're interested.) So now I'm just really stressed and wanting to go home. But I'm stuck here (uni) until the Philosophy department opens to hand in an essay.
