Hubby's complaining that he can no longer cope with the size of the font in our battered old Everymans bought from secondhand book shops when we were younger and poorer. I thought to surprise him with a set of Dickens from the Folio Society and rang them to enquire what size the font is in their 2004 edition. The well-meaning gal on the end of the phone couldn't say. "It says Bulmer inside the cover". "Yes, but what size is the font?". "Um, not tiny, but not big either". Sigh...
