Caulfield is one of the most annoying book character ever invented. but, I did sort of enjoy this book, it depends on your mood I guess.

I hate when people make comments like that. They obviously don't know what they're missing I can't remember the last time I wasn't reading a book [not 24/7 obv]

You should try Paul Kearney. His books are AMAZING IMO.

Autobiographies, pointless waste of trees.
Those real life memoir things? Where a woman was molested?! I know it's all very sad but when 65 women have wrote about it, it all gets a bit much? Also Danielle Steel - her books are pointless. Roald Dahl <.< would never read.

I always feel upset when i read any brilliant book. I hate that feeling tbh, especially when the book is completely amazing, but the ending isn't? Always makes me feel like it shouldn't have been finished.

How about Birdsong by Sebastian Faulks? It was recommmended to me by a woman I worked with. I didn't particularly enjoy it, but given that it has gotten a lot of good reviews, I'm thinking of revisiting it.
There's a reason you didn't particularly enjoy it. It's not a good book [imo] highly recommend anyone interested in war books should try all quiet on the western front by Erich Maria Remarque. Amazing book. You'll understand when you read it.

I was told to read this book for as English literature. Such an amazing book. I’m a big fan of World War 1 literature and this has to be on top of the list. Highly recommend. I definitely prefer it to Sebastian Faulks "Birdsong".

Took out capitalisation on every word.
I just finished reading this book. I loved it, even though I didn't really like the main character. I find it hard to put myself in situations like that, so I found her quite selfish. but I did enjoy it and gave it to my mum to read as well.
