  3. I was barely a quarter of the way in I think, I tried, but just couldn`t go any further. I was told I should persevere and that the other books were much better, but - too late.

  6. I read Ring a while ago, it was very good and as you say, chilling! I haven`t read any others by the author though, but I think I`ll have to give them a go now you`ve reminded me how good Ring was! That was a very good review Kell.
  7. I`m not sure if I should say this! I gave up on the first Harry Potter book and I have no intention of picking it or any other HP book up again.
  8. The, white chocolate praline, chocolate powder from Whittards is delicious too, and with mini mallows on top..................heaven!
  9. Poor you, I thought it was bad enough not being able to read when travelling by road, but at least I can read on a plane or a train.

  11. I used to read James Patterson a lot, but haven`t read any of his in the last couple of years. I would have expected to see, Stephen King, Jeffery Deaver and Tess Gerritsen on the list.

  13. I voted for crime/thriller. I like the mystery and the challenge of trying to work out who did it or how it`s going to be done!

  15. Same here, I love curling up in my armchair with my book , a drink beside me and if I`m very lucky a bar of chocolate nearby too.

  18. These cross-stitch pictures look beautiful, I`ve never tried it but I`m feeling the urge to have a go at it now. Might check out the website for simple ideas later!

  20. I saw in the paper today that Stephen Fry and four others were stuck in a lift for 30minutes on Tuesday night. Apparently he kept them amused with a "succession of quips" and used his iphone to post on his "Twitter network site."
  21. It was an interesting program, I did feel for him at the book reading, it must be so frustrating to be in that position, I do admire him for being so public about things.
