  2. :sign0072: Hope it was a good one.
  3. At least you`re thinking positive thoughts!

I might check online to see what the library have to offer, good idea thanks. :) I`ve never tried audio books before so it would be worth trying.

  4. Congratulations and well done on the job! :clapping:I`m a T.A in a special school don`t think I`d last long in mainstream secondary though.

Do you start in September? :)

  5. Dennis Wheatley........did say a long time ago!

I`ve heard of Dean Koontz, never read him though, would you reccomend him?

& I reckon as long as you enjoy reading that`s all that matters really. Take care.

  6. Hello how are you?

You`re very welcome I`m glad you enjoyed it, what did you think of the 3rd story - I enjoyed it but not as much as the other two. Take care :)

  7. Hello, how are you?

I`m ok, looking forward to next week, then I`ll have 6weeks off work. :D I`m hoping to catch up with some reading, I`ve lost my enthusiasm for it recently. :(

Glad you enjoyed the 2nd book, I always like a break between books in a series as well.

    Take care. :)

  8. Hello, how are you? thanks ever so much - it`s not easy being a mum no matter how old your child is! She was treated so badly by the father despite being with him for over 2 years, that any little knock back affects her, I know she`ll get through this but still find it hard knowing she`s suffering.

I hope you`re doing ok. xx

  9. Hi, how are you and your mojo doing, still enjoying The Broken Window? I started an Erica Spindler book (have you read any of hers - She`s brilliant!) and it was just what I needed to get my appetite for reading back on track :D I`ve got another Erica Spindler ready for when this one`s finished and Dexter is waiting at the library for me, hope my mojo stays with me. :smile2:

    Take Care :)

  10. Hi, I`m ok for the most part thanks, how`s yourself? What do you think of Jeffery Deaver, liking him? You`ll have to try some ofhis earlier Lincoln Rhymes.

500 - I hadn`t noticed, just wondered why there was suddenly another star! my minds all over the place at the mo! Never mind eh. Take care x

  11. I don`t think I`ll be rushing to read Oscar Wilde!

Therapy was brilliant, I think it`s the best book I`ve read for a long time. From the first page I was gripped, I read it in a little over a day - you must read it soon, trouble is, it`s difficult to follow it. Think I need to read a totally different genre next, so I`m going to start, Dear Fatty - Dawn French, today. x

  12. I know people whose diet is dreadful and their cholesterol levels are fine, doesn`t seem fair!

Take care and don`t worry, you`ll be fine. :friends0:

Just one thing, don`t know if you`re a smoker, I used to be and my Dr said the best thing I could do to help lower mine was to give up. (I did!)

  13. I meant to say - how lovely the idea of naming a star for your Mum is, so beautiful. I always think of my Mum when I see the stars, but never thought of naming one for her.

We have a deep red rose for my Mum because she loved them. x

  14. I`m ok thanks Nici :friends0: it still feels a bit unreal really!

We can`t make any arrangements or anything either til they do the post mortem, so it`s harder to get on somehow - if that makes sense

Still, Dad had a good life - he was 84, but the strange thing is, he was looking healthier than he had done for years! Funny how things work out. :)

  15. I`m really sorry to hear about your loss, and send my love to you and your family.

I`ve finished Copycat now (my favourite genre by the way) and I`m looking forward to reading more books by E.S. It was so good!

Another Twilight addict eh! - I haven`t read them, but I`m sure there are worse addictions, so enjoy. xx

  16. I`m sorry about your mojo too, I hate it when it goes it`s so frustrating. :irked: I tend to read crime/thrillers most, Jeffery Deaver is my favourite author, he`s got another book out now that I want but shouldn`t buy, but that might help the mojo situation

Like you I`ve been trying to use the library more as I`ve no room on the bookshelves, it`s not easy resisting the urge to buy though. :)

  17. LOL, I know what you mean `cause I enjoyed it too, despite the gory bits, there must be a name for people like us! Don`t you just love Dexter?

Dearly Devoted was my favourite of the three I think. Hope you continue to enjoy it.

  18. Oh that`s nice.

I get the impression he`s approachable and natural (if you know what I mean) some celebs seem a bit full of themselves and false.

  19. Only just read about your good news,

that`s brilliant congratulations:clapping:I`m so pleased for you. :friends0:

  20. Ooops! didn`t I tell you I wasn`t technical, I wasn`t joking!! not the first time for me either.

I reckon you`d become a fan of Jeffery Deaver, he`s brilliant, along the same lines as TG, try "The Bone Collecter" & "The Coffin Dancer" bet you`ll be pleased you did!

  21. Sounds like a good weekends work, hope the weather is/was kind to you.

I`m busy trying to sort my life out and getting nowhere fast, but I`m ok. Take care Mac.

  22. Sounds like Littlehampton was the place to be!

Remember you`re only as old as you feel, & I feel extremely old at the moment, hey-ho. My 2 grandchildren are 8 & 15months, I`m sure the years are going by quicker since they were born too.Wouldn`t be without them though. Take care.

  23. Thanks for the friendship request!

What part of Scotland are you from, are you anywhere near the book signing? I`ve got an aunt and lots of cousins in the Glasgow area, haven`t been up there for a very long time though.

  24. That answers my question - i was wondering whether an audio book would be a cure, obviously not then! :smile2:

To save myself from temptation I`ve reserved Dexter and Roadside Crosses, both the books I want, from the library. Hopefully Dexter will arrive soon and I`ll see if he`s the answer to my problem!

Broken Window was good, I hope you`re able to enjoy it without too much back tracking. :)

  25. Welcome back Genevieve :friends0:

I`m sorry to hear that you`ve been suffering so much, I hope these hugs :friends0: and kind wishes are a help to you. Take care of yourself. :)
