I read this is school and throughout the silent reading time all you could hear was me laughing or the pages of the book flicking back and forward for the cheesy animation.
Loved it!

I'm an avid Potter Fan and loved all the books.
I would've like more detail in the 19 years later chapter but it soewhat satisfied my senses.
I would've liked to see what Dudley, Petunia, and Vernon were like after those 19 years.

Hello,
My daughter has read and re-read the Stephenie Meyer series and loved them.
Has anyone any suggestions for anything similar that I could get her for Christmas ? (Bit early I know !)
Thanks for any help
Robson
How old ?
I'm 13 and I'm reading 'Magyk' by Angie Sage, it's really good, but if she doesn't like that maybe she might like Anne Rice. Although they are for adults, they're horror and vampires are in one I think.
Hope I helped

Yes, that is true, Cornelia Funke is German, so it was likely tanslated which means her writing wouldn't be as good when translated.
A point I didn't think of...

Welcome!

I know what you mean!
I forced myself to read it, I read it because I wanted to know what was next.
To be honest, I think I could write better, but it had good ideas.

What does everyone think about the books Inkheart, and Inkspell. The author, Cornelia Funke, is said to be bringing out the final book 'Inkdeath'. I love Dustfinger, and Farid, I cannot beleive how Cornelia Funke wrote her actions so life-like.
The movie will come out next year I believe, please correct me if I'm wrong.
So what did you think ?

Thanks everyone,
I was pleasently suprised to see the many warm welcomes I recieved!
And Nellie, my favorite would have to be... Deathly Hallows, or Prisoner of Azkaban.

Hello all!
I'm new here, I only joined yesterday, and I decided I would make my first post here!
I'm a cheerful, optimistic person who hates crossing people, and touching peoples nerves. I love books, writing, and some aspects of art. I am only 13, but my age does not set a limit to my maturity.
I have alot of interesting topics I'm interested in, but if I listed them all, you would grow a white whiskery beard when you come to the end!
I'm glad I made it to this wanderful forum, and I hopefuly will get to know you all!
Cheers,
Riley.
Ps. I love Harry Potter !

I personally have not read any Terry Pratchett books, but I am hoping to pick up my copy of the DiscWorld series.
What would you recommend I read first though?
