God........my dissertation.........pfft! I went into thinking it would be really straight forward but how wrong was I! In general I'm looking at what role the community has played in planning decisions within the Ouseburn Valley as whenever you go there, there's a pretty strong sense of community and no signs of the economy taking over. Anyway, the opening line of my very first interview was "there is no such thing as a community in the Ouseburn, just middle-class yuppies". I've interviewed about 8 people so far and they all pretty much say the same thing, so how can I say that the community has or hasn't played a role when apparently there's no such thing. STRESS! I'm sure I'll just be able to adapt the question but deary me....the hassle! I'm probably going to have to make up the results of a survey too which I didn't really want to do
