This is indeed my first MacBride novel. I've heard it's pretty good too, it's a shame I don't actually want to read at the min Have you read any of his?

Kookie needs a bit of prodding to tidy her room, but she's really a sweetheart when she wants to be, she doesn't mind ironing though thank goodness Shame you can't get Emma to be more enthusiastic about cleaning the rest of the house, how good would that be! Heaven!
